Is it safe to run Flight Simulator X on 16MB Video Card forcedly by deleting 'Display.cfg' from its directory?
I have deleted the file 'Display.cfg' from Flight Simulator X directory to avoid the video card warning since my video card has only 16MB of memory and the game runs successfully on my PC having 256MB of RAM. Anyone please tell me whether it is safe for my video card to run the game with higher memory requirement? Can the game damage my video card? It's S3/VIA Unichrome IGP card with DirectX supported. Actually the game requires a 32MB Video Card.|||Its safe in the sense that it won't damage your computer, but there is no way your going to be able run it well on integrated graphics below recommended settings.|||wow i dont even know how u can run FSX on intergrated graphics. but no it wont b safe. get a betterr graphics card or computer. FSX is one of the most intense games out right now. cant even run it on full quality on the new 8800 lol|||Yeah you will definitely not be able to run this game at all, considering even the high end cards have trouble with this game sometimes.|||no no no! the game will "seem" to run fine, but after a while, it will crash. I had 1gb of memory. 3.4ghz processor, and a good video card and it has crashed my computer for good. no joke!
