video card GeFORCE FX 5500 256MB DDR|||When you went with that video card - I would imagine that after installation your screen resolution went up to at least 1280x768.
This made everything appear smaller on your monitor. Plus - I don't know if you were using active desktop or not - and what you were using for wallpaper. Try setting the screen resolution to 800x600 to see if that makes a difference. I would imagine that if you put more memory and and new video card in - that you know how.|||did u try changing the screen size thing on your monitor. when you click the button try making the screen size smaller|||Right click on the start button, click properties-taskbar tab-Checkmark, next to Keep the Taskbar on top of other windows.
