I have a NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GT. How do I tell if it is a 1gb or 512mb video card?|||start menu > run > dxdiag > display
read the specs on the left|||I would say by going to dxdiag. Press Windows logo + R, type dxdiag and then press enter.
There is however one problem. It says my card has a memory capacity of 1266 even though it's a 512MB card.
But in the end it doesn't matter because the 9800 GT is a 256-bit card which means anything over 512MB is overkill.|||You might also try GPU-Z from techpowerup. It will be able to give you all that info and more.
