I have a dell inspiron 1525 series laptop, can i get a new video card? or is it built into the motherboard? because my video card right now isn't very good, and i would like to change it. and if this information isn't enough, please say, and i will re-post this question, and if i can check manually if it's built in or not (without opening my laptop) how can i do so?|||its soldered onto your motherboard, you cannot EVER remove or replace it. you are STUCK with it.
I WOULD however try downloading the new drivers for the x3100, just google this "soldiers.sans.frontiers" they made a much improved driver for these cards that speeds up windows and game performance.
it wont turn your laptop into a gaming laptop, but it will be much better than it is now.
