Is it easy to change a video card on your hard drive?

Or would I have to see a tech monkey?

What is the best video card for good gaming experience?|||surprisingly easy. basically what you need to do is to open the screw on your VGA, release the jack and pull it out. then you can push your new VGA in, it automatically locks. then put the screw back in. after taht you can get the latest driver for it using windows update (the detailed instructions comes in a manual with every VGA)

and don't listen to these guys. if youu do it once and see how easy it is you'll never go back to a techie.|||The only issue will be the driver that you get with the card. Some systems allow you to install the driver before fitting the card and others after you have fitted the card into the PCI Express slot.

It's as easy as that.

I would remove the old card, fit he new card>boot>install the driver. You may need to go into BIOS in order to tell the system to use the card and not the integrated graphics. Press f2, f8, f10 or f11 depending on your system to enter BIOS, f10 to save changes. You will know the difference if the card is not working and you need to go into BIOS to change the settings.|||ummm. on your hard drive?

There is no such thing as a video card on your hard drive.

Although there is a video card on your motherboard. it may be integrated though. You have to open it and see for yourself

Pretty easy if you can understand basic instructions and if you know the inside of a computer.|||first of all your video card is on your motherboard not your hard drive.

its simple. find an empty slot on your motherboard and plug it in. but the video card you can get depends on the model of your computer. its still a good idea to have someone else do it for you because its very easy for people with no experience to screw up.|||Totally impossible, as your hard drive does not have a video card.

See link for information about computer hardware.|||Not sure about a video card for gaming, but unless you know alot about the inner workings of a computer, it would be in your best interest to hire a tech.|||I recommend you ask someone to change it for you. At least someone who can distinguish between a 'computer' and a 'hard drive'.|||A tech monkey is no use unless you need a new set of digital bananas
