It means when you have 3D models and they have to have textures, the system stores the information of the texture there so that the video card can display them fastly|||RAM is for holding data whilst it gets processed.

So the answer is - to hold the video data whilst it is processed by the graphics processor.|||you spelled that twice and it still didnt make sense
