Would this motherboard and video card be compatible?

And if I did get that mother board would i have to add anything to it if I got it from that website, you know like the chip thingy?|||Yes they would be compatible. The video card you're getting can run on either a PCI 2.0 or PCI x16 slot, your motherboard has a PCI x16 slot so they should be good. You would be better off with getting a motherboard that has a PCI 2.0 slot so you can get the most out of your video card.

And yes, you would need to get a processor for the motherboard. The socket is LGA 775, which would work out for some duo or quad core processors. My personal recommendation for a processor is an Intel Q8200 Quad-core, it's quick and it's a beut.

Hope this helped!|||The video card you are about to purchase has a PCI-E 2.0 Interface. The motherboard does not. Consider buying a diffrent motherboard that has a 2.0 interface. You can find it a tiger direct also.|||This video card will work but as the motherboard only supports PCI-E 1.0 and the video is 2.0 you won't get the full benefits of the card.
