Counter strike ( what kind of video card would you recommend)?

i bought that game counter strike source

but it's lagging because of my video card

and im planning to buy a new video card

so im asking for a decent one

also im using laptop ( i hope that doens't make any difference)

uhhhh and video card can be changed for laptop. is that correct?|||You cant change video cards on a laptop. If you could, it wouldnt be cost effective. Laptops are made to only allow easy access to harddrives, keyboards, memory but thats about it. it would be difficult to get to the GPU and swap it out, and then you would need possibly another ribbon for your monitor too.

But as far as the other question, just something with 128 or higher dedicated video ram. I have an nvidia 8600GT and it works great.
