Would a Better video card make the sims 3 run faster?

i have enough ram but they say i need a new video card so what kind do i need thanks and will it make it run faster|||multiple things are into paly when well you want to paly

1.Graphics card performance (how well your card performs)

2. RAM (random acces memory) more you have the better

3. Processing power (how good of a processor you have)

thats about it as long as you hardware meats the requirements then
