Say I have a computer that has a 300w PSU....and I want to upgrade the video card (from 512MB HD4350 to 1GB GT220) that has a requirement of a 300w psu......do you think I would have to upgrade the PSU as well or can I leave it alone?
thank you|||You should be able to squeak by with that power supply, but for piece of mind, I'd get a 450-500w. You never know what else you might want to upgrade in the future.|||You are at the minimum PSU rating with a 300. Personally, I'd upgrade to a 450 or 500. They are relatively inexpensive.
