Dxdiag wont tell me what video card i have?

i need to know what video card i have so i can download a new driver but when i go on to run/dxdiag it says device: n/a and then it says directx version: not found. i used to have directx9 but i read somewhere that it had problems with some games, so i deleted it and directx8 should have reinstalled. but it still wont tell me anything.... please help anyone!!!!|||google everest home edition. it is free for download. it will tell you exactly what is in your computer from cpu to graphics card, motherboard, down the the tee.|||Try GPU-Z

And for the uninformed, Dxdiag means DirectX Diagnosis. It gives you info on your system, video card and direct X version|||dxdiag will tell ur driver details after u installed them only. so manuall found the driver details and download it and install it. or tell me about ur processor i will tell u the drivers. kardevi143@yahoo.co.in|||Download this software it will tell you everything you need to know about your computer
